Sustainability in Fashion is one of the most discussed topics in the recent years and Mannequin Madness is part of the movement. We supplied these mannequins for the Eco Fashion event at the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver.
The event planners at the Fairmont called us because they specifically wanted to recycled mannequins to display garments for Eco Fashion week that were made from recycled sheets
from the hotel. They were thrilled to discover that the recycled mannequins we sell are in great condition, sometimes practically brand new.
For the second year in a row, Eco Fashion Week partnered with LaSalle College Vancouver and the Fairmont Waterfront to create the Chic Sheets Bed Linen Challenge.
In this challenge, eight students from the college will be given 4 recycled sheets from the Fairmont Waterfront and 3 weeks to transform these sheets into a runway ready look using only the sheets and Tintex dyes.
