This is my series devoted to the real life models who became Rootstein mannequins. The mannequins are also dressed in attire that provides a little bit of fashion history.

This is Simone, pose code LS9 from Lipstick Compact Series, circa 1988 and Classics Collection Series. Simone was also featured in Impact Series, circa 1989. Both are in factory finish as ordered originally for Gantos stores.

Simone in background styled in Vintage Calvin Klein Collection jacket and pants, sample Calvin Klein separates top, Calvin Klein shoes and vintage pearls.

Simone in foreground styled in sample Calvin Klein separates top, vintage Calvin Klein Collection skirt, Calvin Klein shoes and vintage pearls. Calvin Klein Eternity factice women’s and men’s, atop coffee table book.

This is Gloria Lewis – one of the few “mature” looking mannequins that Rootstein produced.

This is a custom for Saks Fifth Avenue, pose code LS11/Saks. Circa 1990ish. Purportedly when Vicki Lewis Series was in sculpture/production, her Mother Gloria and sister Suzanne and Father were also sculptured. The timeline of that, was early 1970’s. This is a factory custom for with Mrs. Lewis (Gloria) head attached to Lipstick Compact Series body.
