This is my series devoted to the real life models who became Rootstein mannequins. The mannequins are also dressed in attire that provides a little bit of fashion history.

Most mannequins rarely look older than 25, unless they are a modeled after a famous celebrity.

Rootstein released two collections (count them only 2) that featured an adult older enough to have an AARP card.

The male in the collection was Mr. Lewis and he has the distinction of being related to three women who are also
Rootstein Mannequins.

Purportedly when Vicki Lewis Series was in sculpture/production, her Mother Gloria and sister Suzanne and Father were also sculptured. The timeline of that, was early 1970’s.

Below are photos of the daughter Vicki and the Mother Gloria. The photo of the mannequin couple on the black background is Mr and Mrs Lewis.

However people mistakenly believe the mannequin couple on the white background is Mr and Mrs Lewis, but the woman is actually January Dickson.

If you want to buy a Rootstein mannequin, we frequently have used ones for sale here. You can also sign up to receive an email the next time we get more used Rootstein mannequins in stock or follow us on Facebook.
