A fiberglass or styrofoam mannequin head can be a canvas that can transformed into a unique garden planter. Plants in the head  take on a life of their own as “hair” and the styles are as endless as the types of plants.

This one looks like a little garden fairy with the rosemary and succulents for her hair. Here is a YouTube video that shows you how to make transform a styrofoam  mannequin head into a “concrete” like planter like this one : https://youtu.be/HcbIwf3S5w4

This one also uses succulents but she looks more “Amazonian” than fairy.

And this one seems inspired my Medusa.

While female mannequin heads are the more popular choice for planters, male mannequin heads can also be used as a planter.

If you don’t gave a green thumb, consider faux flowers like on this head.

But the piece de resistance here is this mannequin head “wearing” a most spectacular spider plant “hat.”  This was created by the design company Muck and Brass located in England.
