This is an outstanding example of using mannequins as props to set the tone for a fashion oriented bat mitzvah.
These were created by Janet Flowers owner of Janet Flowers Wedding and Event Designs of Rockville, Md. Special Events magazine gave her an award of the Best Dining Table Design in 2009.
The theme of the Bat Mitzvah was “Couture Yourself,” and featured wrought iron mannequins dressed in floral costumes.
For a more eco-friendly alternative to this idea, ditch the real flowers and instead use fake flowers. You could even use buttons, shells, balloons or just about anything else. We saw one done with wine corks for a vintner.
