SF photographer Scott R. Kline completed his fine art master’s thesis doing portraits of people who have found their true calling in life. You can see the entire series on his website.

Scott has sought out people who found their true calling in doing things that are a bit unusual or quirky.

Some people of the people he has profiled have found their true calling in collecting something – say japanese anime or animal skulls. Others have a passion for doing something like like painting and customizing prosthetics for amputees. Still others have found their true calling in an unusual line of work, that started as a hobby.

Here are some examples

Nicole Wong, Hula Hoop Entrepreneur

Career Transition Judi Townsend

Judi Townsend, Mannequin Vendor

Stephen Pocock, Bacon King

Patricia Kline, baker of iPies
