We joined the California Association of Museums after the Napa Valley Museum rented 29 mannequins from us for a special exhibit of period clothing from the SF Opera. Normally we recycle mannequins for museums when they buy new ones, this was our first time renting them.
With all the California budget cuts, many museums can no longer afford to buy all the mannequins they need when hosting special fashion related exhibitions. So we are offering California museums a 15% discount on all products in our Oakland warehouse (the inventory changes all the time) and we offer reduced rental rates on long term rentals (minimum 1 month).
