It’s always summer somewhere, so even though it is September we couldn’t resist posting these summer window displays from The Bay, a Canadian department store.
If you look closely, you can “SEE under the SEA” that the underwater plants are constructed out of flip flops. A LOT of flip flops, but what a great design idea!
The is a fabulous example of how the right use of props, (notice the goggles on the mannequin), signage make all the difference between a window that makes you go ho-hum versus a window that makes you go “wow”
Even the giant fish is made out of flip flops and rubber fins.
Personally those pale white mannequins aren’t working for us, we wish they would have used realistic mannequins with tans. But we love the animated poses of the mannequins.
