Even the most beat up, tattered, faded dress form can be transformed into beautiful, Cinderella. All you need is a hot glue gun, silk flowers, creativity and A LOT of patience.
All of these floral sculptures were once beat up used dress forms that were purchased from our Used Mannequin section (our inventory changes all the time, so if you don’t see what you are looking for, check back)
Some became art pieces for the home.
Others became displays at a retail store.
When the retailer put this floral sculpture in the window, many customers came in requesting to “buy that dress” that the mannequin was wearing.
While silk flowers are the most popular choice for upcycling the mannequins, other materials can be used – beads, tiles, buttons, fabric.
As beautiful as these are, they are labor intensive.
So if you purchase a used dress form from us (or from someone else) and want to have someone else do the labor, we can refer you to the two artists we worked with that created these on our site. (They are located in Northern California).
