This is the second album cover we’ve seen recently (see yesterday’s post) where a musician is standing fully clothed in the midst of nude or semi-nude mannequins.
This album cover is from a jazz artist I saw when I was in New Orleans last month.
Since we sell and rent mannequins, we are thrilled to see mannequins instead of live models being used in photo shoots. But why can’t the mannequins wear clothing?
A few years ago Lady Gag was reported to feature male mannequins onstage during her shows. And they too were nude.
What is up with this?
