When a male mannequin is larger than the average size he is referred to as
Big and Tall.
A much nicer sounding description than the “plus size” label given to large female mannequins.
Also a male mannequin can be on the beefy side but still allowed to be athletic like this muscle man body builder mannequin.
But when Nike put a plus size female in athletic clothing on display, some people felt that plus size and athletic do not belong together.
What do you think, is this a double standard or am I making a big deal out of nothing?
