When national retailers replace their old mannequins with new ones, they often call us to recycle the mannequins they are discarding.

Frequently the mannequins are in mint condition, they are just no longer are the style retailer wants to use to display their clothing.

And that is the case with the 40 Rootstein mannequins we acquired from a retailer in the NYC area. The mannequins are all the Yasmine LeBon face in various poses – seated, reclining, standing – with her “hair” in a chignon.

About 1/2 of the mannequins were sold to the Rootstein collectors on our email list the day after we received the mannequins. They grabbed the really unique poses like this one:

We still have some real gems left which you can see here, but they are selling fast

The prices are $350 for the ones that are seated/reclining. And $300 for the standing ones – which come with a bum rod but NO base. The base below was just for taking the photo.

It has been years since we received so many Rootstein mannequins at once – and in such good condition. So few retailers are using them anymore as the trend has gone to eggheads and headless mannequins. Grab a piece of retail history while you can.
