This is my series devoted to the real life models who became Rootstein mannequins. The mannequins are also dressed in attire that provides a little bit of fashion history.

After this post I have only one more Asian Female mannequin to highlight that Rootstein manufactured.
Unfortunately I don’t have a lot to say about this mannequin because I can’t find much about her online – either in mannequin form or in real life.

This is Satoru from the Partner Series. The series was called partners because the standing poses had the option of clasped hands with all models side by side forming a semi circular pattern. She was partnered holding hands with Daisuke, one of the two Asian male mannequins that Rootstein manufactured.

Based on her name she seems to follow the Rootstein tradition of selecting models of Japanese ancestry for their Asian mannequins. If you have any information on Satoru please write in the comments.

If you want to buy a Rootstein mannequin, we frequently have used ones for sale here.
