Beyond Weddings: A Guide to Wearing Flower Crowns & Fascinators All Year Round

People tend to associate flower crowns and fascinators with weddings and events like Coachella and usually on someone under the age of 30 . But there are countless holidays, cultural events and special occasions where they the perfect fashion accessory for all ages to wear.

We might be a little biased because we are based in the SF Bay Area and partial to the famous song lyric, “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear flowers in your hair.” But perhaps when you see the different places that the participants in our flower crown classes have worn theirs, you might convinced to have a flower crown (or two) in your wardrobe.

Most of photos featured here were taken immediately after class. This is why you’ll see the women wearing everyday clothing rather than outfits coordinated to their creations. The only photo which is not from one of our class is the one of the woman in the graduation cap and gown which is from Pinterest.

All of the flower crowns in our classes are made using faux flowers and foliage along with other eco -friendly embellishments like beads, gems, feathers, pearls and more. Flower crowns made in our class will last for years, not days.

So here is a photo guide for wearing flower crowns all year round.
