Flower Crown Class

Why Bruno Mars Fans Are Making Flower Crowns To Wear to the Concert — and Where to Do It in the Bay Area

If you’re heading to The Romantic Concert Tour, you’ve probably already seen it on social media. Fans everywhere are showing up to Bruno Mars concerts wearing red roses — in their hair, on their heads, woven into their outfits. It’s become the unofficial dress code for the tour.

The whole visual started with Bruno himself. His album The Romantic is drenched in rose imagery — red roses on the altar in the “Risk It All” music video, roses in the leading lady’s hair, roses woven through his wardrobe.

A fan on social media suggested everyone bring that visual to life at the shows. Bruno saw it and responded with one word: “Please!”And just like that, a stadium tradition was born.

If you plan to be part of  Bruno’s sea of roses when he comes to Levi Stadium in October, come design a one of a kind flower crown in the Sunday flower crown classes at Mannequin Madness.

It’s unlike any craft class you’ve been to — and yes, we know that’s exactly what everyone says. But where else are you going to design a flower crown on a mannequin head, with Bruno Mars playing in the background and tea and sweets on the table?

In just two hours, using only a glue gun you will make something amazing and uniquely you. Our talented designer will be there to provide you with tips and tricks to bring your vision to life. Besides the faux flowers we have other items you can add to your flower crown. Feathers, shells, gems, pearls, butterflies and more  — all included in the price.

Even if you think you are not crafty or creative. The women in the photos in this post had never made a flower crown before they came to our class.

Your flower crown goes home with you looking exactly as beautiful as the moment you created it. Lasting fashion over disposable fashion. Fresh roses look beautiful for about an hour. By the encore they’re drooping, shedding petals, and headed for the trash.

So you can wear your flower crown over and over again – to festival, your birthday, a photoshoot, on your graduation cap. Or at the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.

Our flower crown class is every Sunday from 2 to 4pm in the Mannequin Madness showroom. The price is $60 for adults and $45 for children ages 8–17.Use code BRUNO at checkout for $10 off your class. Offer expires Sept 1, 2026 Reserve your spot here.

Don’t wait until the week of the show. One of the best things about making your crown early is that you get to build your whole concert outfit around it. Not scrambling the night before — actually planning.

When I went to SantaCon last year I made this costume and flower crown with red poinsettia’s. I am planning to swap out the flowers for red roses to wear to the concert.  See you on the floor!
