The cosplay community and Mannequin Madness have always had a great relationship. We love to showcase their creativity and they love to buy our used mannequins so they can display their costumes.

One of our customers told us about the Youtube tutorials she has been watching to learn how to make her own cosplay costumes and props. We went down the rabbit hole watching the designers she recommended. Of course what we observed was the different styles of mannequins favored by the designers.

Yesterday we showcased making a breastplate on a mannequin torso by Tiffany Gordon Cosplay.  Today we are showing  Sarah Hambly who specializes in making “geek couture” like these:

 As you can see, she knows a lot about corsets, And looking at the dress forms which seem to be on the slightly plus size (by mannequin standards) she makes it possible for women of all sizes to enjoy cosplay.
